Day 4 of 125.

Went to bed a little later than expected last night, writing and planing the following days in my head. But my sleep was so good that I had set my alarm for 4:15 am and I naturally woke up at 4:10 am... I have issues, lol! This is what works for ME, I like to wake up early and do my workout before going to work. If this does not work for you, find a time that does. Whatever it is that you like to do to move yourself, go for it. Even if you need to break up with the elevator and use the stairs to get home or work, go for a walk around the block on your lunch break, go a little further while taking you pet out for a walk, MOVE YOURSELF. It is so important... makes your blood flow, your brain sharper, your mind clear, your heart healthier, your lungs powerful... endless benefits!

Still without my headphones did my 1 mile run (9:18) and the good thing was that without music, I was able to pain really attention on my breathing and pace. I know it makes it easier at the treadmill than running outside, but little changes will improve big time.

Was rest day on the squats challenge, so headed straight to the pool for a good swim. Kicked my ass... but I can not wait to see how my swim will get better in the next few weeks.

Had time to chill in the sauna for 10 min and relax.

Breakfast today was an experiment... Last night I was in the mood to do my overnight oats, but wanted to play with the recipe for a bit, so I decided to use Spirulina. What is Spirulina?

Spirulina it is a superfood made out of blue-green algae from freshwater plants and the health benefits are huge, here is some of them:

- Detoxes Heavy Metals / Eliminates Candida / Helps Against Cancer / Lowers Blood Pressure / Reduces Cholesterol / Boosts Energy / Weight Loss / Alleviates Sinus Issues / High in Protein / Packed with B Vitamins / Full of Calcium & Iron -

Anyways, I blended some Spirulina with coconut milk and did the rest all the same: GF oats, chia seeds, hemp seeds, pinch of salt, cinnamon and coconut flakes, in the morning added frozen berries and peanut butter (of course, lol!)

Looked pretty weird I agree 10000%, but super tasty and packed with goodness to replace all the energy used while training.

The day started pretty good, till some situations at work got on my nerves and through my mood a tinny bit off. My coworker not having the best morning either asked if I wanted to go out to eat and shake the mood off. I said: Burger? She said: Sure... we surrender to some burgers and fries...

Ops, forgot that was some onion rings in the mix too. I am also a human that likes to splurge once in a while... One thing for sure, was already in nap mood all day as I am noticing that swimming recovery is different from my usual workouts, and after eat all this, I was sleepy as can be the whole afternoon. This greasy carb loaded lunch did not help at all the energy boost. Oh well...

Sticked with my walk after work with my girlfriend and we did a smooth 5 mile to stretch the legs, laugh a little, talk, fresh air and the sun bathing us, a good turn around of the day.

To be honest, I didn't eat anything for dinner. Was not hungry at all.

I will eat good tomorrow and push at the gym tomorrow ;)

Happy Thursday !

... almost the weekend...
