Day 2 of 125.

Day 2 ... Hope this motivation can keep up for a LONG time...

Woke up at 4 am without any alarm. The only thing is that as soon as I woke I pinched some muscle in my neck that made me sooooo stiffed and sore, that I thought about not going to the gym for a brief second. But started to stretch and move around to lose it up and felt a lot better after a few minute working with it, so I headed to the gym for my morning work out.

Before I headed to the gym I made my morning shot: apple cider vinegar, cayenne pepper & lemon juice to wake my digestive system.

Ohhhhh... by the way, I am a water crazy person and you should turn to be one too. Water is essential for us, without water we don't only feel thirsty but we feel fatigue, we get headaches, lose skin vitality, constipated, moody, list goes on and on. True fact: I have the habit of sleeping with a glass of water next to me to be able to drink it as soon as I wake up. It is great for your body to start the day with a glass of water, so it can flush all the toxins out and to turn on the body engines and start the day in the right gear ;) !

At the gym, did a slow pace 1 mile run (9:18) to warm up, did my 55 squats for my challenge and headed to the pool. Was able to swim 656 yards in 18 min... kicked my but and lungs. I'm excited to see how my swim will change after a couple weeks of training. Sauna makes me relax after a good workout, so I gave myself some minutes of relax time.

For breakfast I cooked a veggie scrambled eggs: red onions, sweet potato, baby bok choy, kale, yellow oyster mushrooms and Havarti cheese, grabbed a nice ripe kiwi and blended some grass fed butter with black coffee and collagen... Yum!

That kept me full till lunch, which I actually ate the fresh salad that I was suppose to eat yesterday instead of that gigantic burrito, lol! Anyways... the salad was packed on the mason jar (which I love them... use it for everything): wild arugula, broccoli, cauliflower, zucchini, cabbage and red onions. At work I added a scoop of hummus, half of an avocado and some kalamata olives. The dressing was olive oil, rice vinegar, salt and pepper. Super fresh !!!!!!

Before leaving the house this morning, I had packed the gym bag with workout clothes because I though I would have all the energy to go train at the Santa Monica stairs... well, that didn't happened! By 2 pm today, I crashed... hard. Eyes got heavy and all I wanted was to go sleep. At that time, I decided to change the plans to head home and have a easy night as tomorrow I will have a full fun day, with gym training in the morning, biking to work and a beach workout after work. I can give myself an afternoon off... right?! lol

Got home... did some work, made myself a smoothie (coconut milk, MediClear Plus protein, cinnamon, hemp seeds, chia seeds, sipurilina, 1/2 frozen banana & dates) for dinner. A smoothie for dinner? Yep! Today I want to nourish fast and crash hard.

And that's it folks, the neck still pretty sore. Hopefully I will be able to sleep and wake up felling fresh.

Nite nite.

PS:  The lake picture with the quote on top ... I took last year on a road trip to Lake Tahoe with a girlfriend and the quote was my quote for today (I have an app on my phone, that everyday at 6 am it sends me a quote of the day). I thought they would go well together. What do you think?
