Sweet Potato Fall Cream

2 tbsp of butter

2 lg white sweet potato, peeled and small cubed

2 small carrots, peeled and small cubed

1/2 onion, chopped

1 inch fresh ginger, grated

3 whole cloves

1/8 tsp of ground cinnamon

3 cups of water

Salt and pepper to taste


  1. Melt the butter in a large pan, in medium heat. Sauté the onions and ginger for 2-3 minutes, until fragrant.
  2. Add the potatoes, and carrots, add the water, cloves, cinnamon and  adjust salt and pepper to taste. Bring to a boil.
  3. Turn the heat down to a simmer and cook for 30 minutes. Scoop out the whole cloves, and blend the mix.
  4. Bring back to the stove, and cook for 5 minutes in low heat to bring all the flavors together.
  5. Enjoy it!
