Lentil Soup

Serves: 4

Total Time: 1 hour

Ingredients:

1 cup green lentil

1 small onion, small diced

3 garlic clove, minced

1 stalk of celery, small diced

1 small carrot, small diced

3 cups of water

2 tbsp olive oil

1/4 tsp cumin powder

Salt & peper to taste

Directions:

  1. Heat up a large pan in med-low heat, add the olive oil. Sauté the onion and garlic for 2-3 minutes until fragrant, add the celery and celery, and cook for extra 5 minutes.
  2. Add the water, season to taste with salt and pepper, plus the cumin. Add the lentils and simmer for 45 minutes, or until lentils are cooked through.
  3. Enjoy!
